CS4 and I

Okay, I'm sure many of you have heard of this game called Counter Strike. Basically all you have to do is protect your own base, safe hostages, attack enemy's base and etc.

It's actually a waste of time unless you want to kill time then it's okay playing it.

Anyway, I'm actually talking about Adobe Illustrator CS4.


The picture above, was my first time exploring in the lab. I know it's ugly, spare me alright, I'm still new. =)

Then we're asked to create a character and we have to pass it up on that very day itself! That's the one on top, meet Mr Tortoise. At first I wanted a cat but it ended up looking like a tortoise instead. Oh well..

By the way, I was using CS2 in the lab.

Here's my second attempt.

Updates!

Okay Ken, I'll update since you requested it XD

I'll sum up what happened this week.

I actually didn't expect myself to be so weak, that I fell sick yesterday.

How?

It started off with Mama's Kitchen food on Wednesday night.
I went out with my roommate and her course mate for dinner. I was excited because it's like my first time going out at night with my roommate.

Okay, not that I've not been going out at night but this is different. As in around Help area and with my roommate =)

The food was too salty and I got sore throat the next day.

It wasn't so bad after drinking lots and lots of water but on Thursday night I had Canadian Pizza and it became worst.

I thought to myself that it's okay to have sore throat than fever or flu. Happy me.

After Pizza, my roommate surprise me with a sandwich.


I was so touched! I didn't know what to say, and normally sandwiches you can't keep until tomorrow.


This is how it looks. After taking the first bite, my appetite went wild, it was so yummy! So I had supper that night.

On Friday, went to class, I'm still okay. Then I attended CF after that, my first time attending.

Halfway through I felt uneasy, I know that I was going to fall sick. Usually people can feel it when they're about to fall sick.

Went back after it ends, take a nap, and welcome fever. I had fever that night. I was supposed to follow Irene for her cell group dinner, I felt bad leaving her alone.


That's it, classes were good so far.

And if you don't know what to do when you're sick and away from home. Just drink a cup of Milo, then take two tablets of Panadol and Redoxon later.

You'll be as healthy as a horse the next day! =D Thank You for all your prayers too!

I Thank God for a good roommate! She left me a sticky note, so sweet.

Though I don't know much about her yet, I can sense that everything is going to be Great!

Next Phase

Some of you must be wondering where am I going off to. Well, if you still can't figure it out until today, it's okay =)


I'll be going off to HELP UNIVERSITY COLLEGE.




I'll be starting next week on the 18 August and I'll be going down to Kuala Lumpur on the 15 August.

'Why go HELP? Very helpful is it?' Yea, I love teasing people last time, and I ended up going there too.

Lesson learned: not to tease people next time.

If you ask me Why HELP? No idea, just following His will =)

What really happened..

SUNDAY:
I went for its open day to get more details on the 18 July.

My first impression, I love the place!

Told Mr X my results and everything, he said 'okay' and I'm qualified.

By the way, Mr X is one of the counselors there.

Got the information I needed, I told him I can't confirm now because I'm still waiting for public Uni, then he told me to email him my results etc and give him a call if I've already confirmed. He also said that it takes around one or two weeks to approve because in Perth they're having their breaks.

MONDAY:
Did what he told me to, I sent Him my results etc

WEDNESDAY:
Results came out, I didn't get into public Uni.
So I called him immediately to confirmed and I asked him if he had received my email I sent, then he was like oh when did you send it? I replied, yesterday, and the shocking part was when he asked me what date is it.

I somehow felt uneasy but I just thought to myself, oh well this guy must be very busy, so I just hang on and replied him patiently. He was looking through his mail, then he finally found it and say 'okay! everything is here, I'll make a call to the office and send your particulars there.

I was very excited at first and I really can't wait to start.

After waiting for almost two weeks. Mom asked me to call.

Sj: Hello, Mr X sj here, I would like to ask if they have already approved me.

Mr X: sj? Did you send me your particulars?

Sj; yea, I emailed to you last two weeks, and you said okay

Mr X: wait ar, (his background I heard him flipping files/pages looking for my documents I wrote on that Sunday) *in his voice I can sense that something was wrong, he was panicking. I just waited patiently.*

What's your name again? Then he said Ah! I found it, when did you send me your email? (He was looking in his inbox, scrolling). The administrators likes to do things slow wan, take their time so long, actually you're already confirm accepted, is your computer with you?

Sj: yea

Mr X: can you send me your particulars again?

Sj: but it's not on (I quickly on the computer)

Mr X: I'll call you back later.

After a few minutes. My phone rang.

Mr X: Sj ar sorry, you couldn't take mass comm because we don't accept Pengajian am, which means you only have one pass and a subside excluding PA. Maybe you can take business.

Honestly I don't feel sad at all, I asked him why, then he said it's their rule.

Suddenly, I remembered in the first place he told me yes I'm eligible to and WHY can't you tell me earlier, WHY do you have to make me wait and tell me lies that the people there are not doing their work properly when you are one of them doing work reluctantly and irresponsible. IF you would have told me earlier that I'm not eligible, I would have signed up somewhere else and WHY can't you just tell me right and then, so I don't have to waste my time waiting! Thinking I was going into KDU.

Oh yea, I didn't ask him that, my last reply was 'okay'.

So yea, I'm not going into KDU. I ended somewhere else instead =)
