Thoughts;
When it comes to voting, I think its best to know and investigate what the Party is doing in your area first before ticking an X. Please Vote according to their efficiency on their work, NOT the Party or the flag that you see in the box when you're about to tick.
As I was looking through my "collection" of praise and worship songs, I stumbled upon this weird paper that was in the middle. And when I opened it - guess what it is.. My testimony that I wrote 3 or 4 years back! After reading it, it brings back so much memories and detailed stories that I nearly forgotten..
Thank You for the reminder Lord, of all You've done..
How are you staying grounded in Jesus?
What changes do you need to make so that you can be refreshed by Him?
In order for us to stay grounded, Eldredge suggests the following:
“Cut the insane busyness.
Do not live for tweets, texts, Facebook, or
email. Unplug the TV.
Read Christian writers.. Practice solitude
and silence (5 minutes a day will rescue you)
Get back in the
Scriptures.”
Intentionally centering ourselves in Jesus’ truth and grace is the
best place to begin. It may not change our circumstances, but abiding in
Him will help us honor His ways and keep us grounded.
12 God
blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward
they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who
love him. 13 And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. 14 Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. 15 These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.
16 So don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. 17 Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. 18 He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession. James 1:12-18
Maturity comes at varying paces in different places.
In what area of
your life do you need to act more like an adult and less like a child?
How does your faith in Jesus encourage you to step it up?
When a crisis hits, what’s your first reaction? How can you train your
mind to see things in the light of God’s Word rather than through your
human eyes?
We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We
use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the
strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We
destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We
capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
No one has the right to do so, for Psalm 139:13-14 says; For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
As expected, I got a C+ for Intercultural Communication. But I Thank God for the rest! All Glory to You Daddy God! *Yippy*
Also! I was quite happy when I got an A for Writing for Broadcast and New Media. I was expecting to get a B or so, because he was so strict! THANK YOU LORD!! Hard work paid off *phew*
Wondering who he is? He's Mr Deepak! Took Graphic Design under him and got a B+
Yup, that's my canvas which cost me RM90, but worth it *smiles
As for the rest, I got 2 B+ and a B, 5 subjects overall last semester. Short semester will be starting this coming Monday! Looking forward to it!
This song was originally sang by Rihanna if I'm not mistaken.
This song cover below by Lindsey Stirling is worth sharing..
Two verses that caught me was:
We found Hope in a Hopeless place,
We found Love in a Holy place..
Did I hear them right? Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
We can find hope in a hopeless place when He is with us, He is our strong pillar of strength in our times of tribulation. So Don't give up hope! Pray until something happens!
We found love in a holy place, every one of us have a destination to reach, either to lead a life according to His will or our own will. What kind of destination? Eternal life or death. Psalm 23:6Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever
Why?
Because, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."John 3:16
It's Wednesday! Meaning, cheap movie tickets!
RM8, worth going for a movie marathon on Wednesdays!
So today I went and watched The Lady myself *smiles*
Overall, it was good and it was based on a true story of Aung San Suu Kyi who was held under house arrest for as long as 15 years. She's Aung San's daughter, if you remember what we studied in From 5's history book *wink*
Don't know who she is? Never heard of her? Go watch!
You won't regret! As in for people like me *laughs*
But if you don't watch, you will never know! Ahh hah!
I can say that I've never knew and thought how bad it was, all the sufferings that she has to go through, which very much reminded me of my own country Malaysia's BERSIH Rally. But not as bad as Burma. The movie helps me think deep and question myself, and it gave me an insight on how the authority thinks of wicked ideas to manipulate the people.
Such Courageous Woman I would say! *SALUTE*
*Googles Aung San Suu Kyi*
