Proverbs 31:8-9
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,
for the rights of all who are destitute.
Speak up and judge fairly;
defend the rights of the poor and needy.
This morning I am reminded that beyond my academic pursuits, and the tussle we have over our grades, we are called to make a difference in the lives of the needy around us using the gifts and the education we have been given.
I pray that the education we have been blessed with and that we so take for granted will be used by God to bring the light of Jesus into the world.
